Ans:
The three types of slitting are Razor, Score and Shear slitting.

complex than razor slitting, requiring the installation of a hardened
anvil roll and the wrapping of the web over the roll. Shear Slitting is
the most versatile method and can accommodate a wider variety of
materials than any other method.

Ans:
To assure the desired shearing action, the shear cut knives should
mesh with an overlap of 1/32" to 1/16" with the front knife center set
slightly above the center of the back knife.

Q: What are the different ways to Rewind material?

Ans:
The two types of rewinding are surface winding and center
rewinding. Proper rewinding must be done in order to eliminated air
from between the layers as they are wound. A high rewound tension
contributes to a high rewind tension and a densely rewound roll.
